Selling your Old Gold Jewelry to Cash4Gold.com

Cash4Gold as seen on TVA lot of site visitors have been asking about Cash4Gold, since it currently seems to have the biggest media presence in TV commercials and also, coincidentally, because it happens to be paying out the most for anyone looking to sell gold jewelry.  So it’s time to take a closer look at Cash4Gold and how their operation works.

Selling gold or jewelry to Cash4Gold is pretty simple.  All you have to do is visit their site (click here to do it now) and fill out the simple name and address form they provide.  They, in turn, mail you out a gold refiner’s kit.  The gold kit is really easy to work with, just fill out your name and info and they give you a bag to ship your gold in.  And here’s the good part – they’ve already paid the shipping!

That’s right, they give you a postage pre-paid envelope to ship your gold in!  So it doesn’t cost you anything to sell your gold to them, it’s all profit for you.  The shipping time is fast, they’ll usually get it back in a day or two, and then mail out a payment to you immediately.  You do have the option to have them deposit the money for buying your gold jewelry directly into your checking account at your bank, but there is a $4.99 processing fee for that convenience.

So how much is Cash4Gold going to give you for your gold jewelry?  That really depends on several factors, the two most important being weight and purity (which is measured in karats for gold).  Our handy free online gold appraisal tool will help you figure out what your gold is worth and how much the big gold buying companies, like Cash4Gold, will give you for it.

We’ve heard of people sending in thick rope gold chains from the 80s, which are totally out of style and will never be worn again, and getting back almost $1000!!  Obviously most jewellry isn’t going to contain that much gold, but you’d be surprised at how much they’re paying out right now.

Your right this website is offering crazy amounts of money for your old gold. Anyone who has a recent piece of gold jewelry should get it appraised first because these items will be being weighed in.

I think with all the problems with currency around Europe at the moment it may be just as good to keep hold of your gold! Just an opinion.

It’s a nice thing for people to sell their genuine gold now since gold prices are really high atm. Most old gold pieces are not fashionable any more anyway so why not sell em. Todays bling bling jewelry is cheaper to get and honestly it does look way fresher and modern.

Are there really no other fees involved? No fine print so to speak?

Do they pay for diamonds BTW? Some of my old gold jewelry has diamonds, or semi-precious stones, in the settings. Do I need to remove them before sending to you, or do you return them to me?
