It’s a nice thing for people to sell their genuine gold now since gold prices are really high atm. Most old gold pieces are not fashionable any more anyway so why not sell em. Todays bling bling jewelry is cheaper to get and honestly it does look way fresher and modern.

I found a horde of gold chains that I wore back in the days of Disco! They don’t fit in with today’s bling bling, so I got cash for them instead…not that I was going to go to the nearest hip hop joint in the first place

I found an old belly dancing coin belt I got as a birthday gift when I was a little girl, and found out it had real gold coins. They weren’t all that big and really thin, but it helped me buy a nice birthday gift for my own birthday girl!

Good information. I have often wondered about the commercials and tend to take them with several grains of salt. You’re right though, many people have out-of-style jewelry they will never wear again. Why not cash them in. Thanks for the article.
