Where to Sell Gold Jewelry Online

Gold is at it’s highest value in years. There is no better time than now to sell gold jewelry. One of the fastest and easiest ways to sell gold jewelry may be online. Online gold buyers may offer market value for those who wish to sell. This is a perfectly legitimate way to get some extra cash; however, not all online gold buyers are not the same.

Update: Since this review, we took a look at Empire Gold Buyers; they are offering the best payout for gold right now.  Just give them your address and they’ll send you a free risk-free gold appraisal kit.

Before selling your gold jewelry online, profile the companies that you may be considering. Some online gold buyers may require a processing and/or shipping fee. Sometimes this will depend on the weight of the gold. These fees are typically withheld from the payment issued. The seller should beware of any online gold buyer that requests any type of monies be sent upfront.

Know what type of gold jewelry that the gold buyer will appraise and accept. Many will take broken pieces; however, some may not take jewelry with stones. Those who will take these will remove stones before weighing the gold. Typically, those who will pay for jewels or stones will pay considerably less for them than what they will the gold itself. Keep in mind that you may not be limited to just gold. Several of these companies will also pay cash for silver.

Finding an online gold buyer over the internet is simple, you don’t even have to leave your home. They pay top dollar and the money is received in a minimal amount of time. It’s the hassle-free way to sell your gold!

I hear you about cash4gold, but saying they have the best payout isn’t correct. Refinity.com which melts the gold themselves has no middle man and they guarantee the best prices.

Trying them out and reviewing them would be worth your time.

Cash4gold reminds me of the time when everyone was looking for used denims to resale overseas. I guess this is just another enterprising niche that folks are cashing in on. In fact, our last garage sale, while we were setting up, I had this guy drive up, and called me over to car. He rolled down the window and asked if I had any gold jewelry that I was selling. When I said no. He just rolled up the window and speed off. Not even a “Have a Good Day”. The nerve of that guy, he did not even have the courtesy to get out of the car.

After reading numerous complaints and blogs about the scams rendered by these online gold buyers, I’ve decided to do in-depth research before selling my unwanted gold.

After several days of intense research, I discovered that U.S. Gold Buyers, Inc. are totally legit! They stand by everything they profess on their website. I recommend USGoldBuyers.com to anyone looking to sell their gold…they are safe, reliable & fast!

After reading about those CASH 4 GOLD scams, I was weary about selling my gold to those late-night TV commercials. I actually took the time to research various gold buying companies and after seeing the positive reviews that ABC & CNN gave U.S. Gold Buyers, Inc., I was convinced they were the best in the biz!

I shopped around for several days and their prices were always the best on the net. They are an extremely professional company and offered free shipping, price quotes and payments within 24 hrs of the receipt of my items!

Do your homework before selling your gold -if you do, you’ll realize that U.S. Gold Buyers are 100% official!

I’m originally from Upstate but recently moved down here since the start of the summer. I wanted to sell some old jewelry that I’ve accumulated throughout the years and what I discovered by researching U.S. Gold Buyers was that they offered to pay me 2-3 times more than the local pawn shops in my old town…the disparity in their offers was ridiculous! But I soon realized that pawn shops are like middle men -hoping to make a profit by buying from you and selling to the dealers! Why go to the “middle men?” -go directly to U.S. Gold Buyers and receive the highest prices for your items…I’m really glad I did! Go to US Gold Buyers and NOT pawn shops!!

The key is to research online gold buyers…check forums, scam reviews etc.

You can always sell it somewhere in your local area (offline)…this way you’ll get your money quicker.

You might want to hold on to your gold for a little longer because gold experts are saying it is still on the rise.

Some are even saying that it *could* rise up to $10K p/oz.

I can tell you that it is much more safe to buy “premade” jewelry at the moment. Then gold itself. It is not really safe to invest purely in gold. You can’t do much with pure gold at the moment. Since if nobody will buy bulk at high prices – then you will need to create jewelry product yourself. And workmanship is very expensive. You can get 3-4 times more products for same investment value if you will go with premade, not pure gold.
